Excellent tasting food for the noodles and the price. Exceptional customer service skills from the waiter. I am definitely coming back here during my lunch breaks when I can!

An amazing, easy, casual place to eat especially if you love noodles. Located near College and Spadina, Mr. Yes Noodle bar offers a varied and interesting menu. Noodles, rice dishes, and bbq skewers! We opted for the noodle combo where you can pick 2 toppings. Featured is one meal with noodles, traditional fried sauce (in Chinese it was called jajeung mien) and traditional Beijing sauce; one meal had the Beijing sauce paired with tomato and egg; one was the beef brisket noodle soup. Oh where do I begin? The traditional fried sauce was salty, savory with fermented bean taste and paired so well with the fresh cut cucumber and noodles. It went easily with the Beijin sauce that was lighter, milder, but equally tasty. It reminded me of an oyster sauce base with bamboo shoots, wood ear and mushrooms. Note: if you order from this section, you can get noodle refills I think but the portions were so generous I couldn't eat it all and had to take some home. You also get a complimentary plum juice drink with this combo. The tomato egg is a classic dish, sweet and so easy to enjoy. The beef brisket noodle soup is delicious but spicy so be forewarned! Hearty, savory, and clears your sinuses. The noodles across all the dishes had an excellent mouth feel, hearty, chewy, and such a great texture. Most importantly, staff were pleasant and polite. It was my first time anod I had no idea what to do. They were helpful and patient! Also, loved the open kitchen in the main part of the restaurant. If you're in the area, give them a try!

The noodle bar concept of getting two (or more!) sauces or "toppings" for your noodles is great, so you don't get tired of the taste. Makes choosing and sharing easier too, you can try so many flavours. Their other main and side dishes were all really tasty too! Great quality overall!
